Martin Reed Wyman, 61, of Bates City, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in McKendree Cemetery, Odessa, MO. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Beginnings, 35008 E. R.D. Mize Road, Oak Grove, MO 64075.
Marty was born April 6, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Kenneth Donald Sr. and Bertha Mae (Bonner) Wyman. He was a construction laborer. Marty enjoyed fishing and being in the great outdoors with God. He was a great cook, liked listening to country and bluegrass music, and enjoyed antiquing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Marty is survived by his wife, Brenda Wyman; daughter, Angela Isley (Bill); son, Steven Thurman (Amanda); four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers: Ronald Wyman (Sheila), Roy Wyman (Jan), and Rusty Wyman (Buffy); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donnie Wyman.
