Mary L. Cocklin


Mary Louise Cocklin, 78, of Independence, Missouri, died Friday, May 6, 2016. 

Louise was born April 27, 1938, in Versailles, Missouri.  She enjoyed embroidering, gardening, reading, vacations to Florida, and her true passion of working at Waffle House, where she spent many years serving her friends and family.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Cocklin Sr; one daughter, Sabrina Georgeulokos; her mother and father, Edith and Virgil Grace; and one brother, Sgt. Major Hugh S. Grace.  She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Shawn and Bradford Byrd; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Charity Cocklin; two sisters; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
