Michael “Mike” Bubba” Meyer, 39, of Independence, MO passed away May 14, 2022 at his home.

Visitation will be 5:00-6:30pm Tuesday May 24, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Funeral service will follow at 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family.

Mike was born August 2, 1982 in El Paso, TX to Michal (Sigler) & Daniel L Meyer.

Michael “Bubba” was first and foremost a family man, he was a wonderful stay at home dad. Bubba loved sports, most importantly the Kansas City chiefs, he loved all animals, he was a handy man, loved DIY projects, loved to craft and absolutely loved to cook.

Michael “Bubba” is survived by his wife Melissa; son: Conner; daughter: Chloee; mother: Kelly Bartsch; father; Dan Meyer; brother: Shawn Grew and his wife Felicia; mother & father-in-law: Lynn and Jim Locke; brother & sister-in-law: Ashley Ruby, Jeff and Diamond Ruby. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and their families, and many great nieces and nephews.

Michael “Bubba” will be missed dearly.
