
Michelle “Shelly” Lea (Bray) Bergloff, 52, of Independence Missouri passed away peacefully on February 28th, surrounded by her family. Visitation will be 2-4pm Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO.
Shelly is survived by her mom, Joy (Comer) Titus, her 2 children, Alexis and Bryan, and her grandson, Hudson. Siblings Jim (Diana), Rick and Sister Lisa Bray (Joshua), Nieces and Nephews: Miranda (James), Summer (Cameron), Alex, Malachi, Rylen, Sunnie and Jamison.
Shelly graduated from Avila University with her Bachelors in Psychology to evolve her work of giving back in a way that empowered people. Shelly lived her life’s work of sharing her story, knowledge, strength, and joy. She was an amazing person with a love for youth sports, especially baseball, and all activities her children and grandson loved. Shelly spread joy in many ways, creating and supporting communities in everything she was part of. Shelly was a beautiful soul who shared her unwavering strength with everyone she met; Her gentle positivity was apparent from the moment you shared a room. She lived life fully and inspired others to do the same. She will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure to call her a friend. Our hope is that she will rest in peace knowing she did everything she could and that her children will carry her with them, always.
