Nicholas George Pavlica, 71, formerly of Bates City, MO, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at his home in Warsaw, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 5th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 โ 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4th at the funeral home.
Nick was born January 20, 1950, in Independence, MO, the son of Nicholas and Mildred (Pleacher) Pavlica. He was a driver for Major Brands in Kansas City for 25 years. Nick was a member of St. George Orthodox Church, the Teamsters Union, the Elks Lodge in Blue Springs and Warsaw, and the Eagles Lodge in Warsaw. He enjoyed his 1923 T Bucket car and spending time with family and friends.
Nick was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Pavlica, and his mother and stepfather, Mildred and J.C. Dyer.
His survivors include two sons, Troy Pavlica of Bates City and Adam Pavlica (Tiffany) of Warsaw; daughter, Jeana Young (Roger) of Garden City; seven grandchildren: Amanda Smith, Kaitlyn Pavlica, Tanner Pavlica, Jacob Pavlica, Bailey Young, Cameron Young, and Austin Young; and two great-grandchildren, Nolan and Porter Smith.

2 Nov 2021Nick will be missed by all his friends enjoyed going to car shows with him. One of the fun times I remember weโre going down 71 highway raining and thereโs an off ramp and I slowed down Nick was behind me in his T bucket. I was in the roadster I had a big fat tires and he got soaking wet we had a lot of great fun times.
