Norma J. Grace

Norma Jane (Boeschen) Grace passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 2nd with her husband Joe at her side. A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022. A private graveside service will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery for family only. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers consideration of donations to the American Cancer Society and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Norma’s remembrance.

Norma was born on December 24, 1942 to her parents Lawrence and Helen (Schelp) Boeschen in Concordia, Missouri.  Norma married Joseph D. Grace at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia in September 1962.  They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in just a few weeks’ time. Norma and Joe moved to eastern Jackson County in 1975, and Norma enjoyed meeting and making many friends in the community over the years.  The strength which her faith provided her, her solid foundation of common sense, her fascinating knack with mathematics, and her sense of humor which she inherited from her parents will be missed.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Lorene Koch (Bruce).  She is survived by her husband Joe of the home, brother Richard Boeschen (Carol), sisters Ruth Dierking (Russell) and Kathy Renfro (Ray), sons Tim Grace and Bill Grace (Karen), grandsons Colin and Evan (Allison), granddaughters Emily and Anna, and numerous nieces and nephews.
