Brent E. Anderson

Brent Ellery Anderson was born on February 22nd 1962 to Dana and Andy Anderson. Brent graduated from Raytown high School and attended some college later on in life. While Brent had several careers over the years, his most recent job was working at FedEx. Brent loved watching the Chiefs games and the Royals. Brent enjoyed music, the good stuff he would say, Pink Floyd, ACDC mostly classic rock. He really enjoyed running, he ran a ton of marathons we’ve lost count. He ran two ultramarathons as well. He loved his red Mustang, it was like his baby. He also often referred to it as his “rocket ship”. Brent was very witty, he was funny and he also had all of the dad jokes there were. Brent loved his dogs, Abby and then Buddy who came later on, who were in heaven waiting for him. Brent was a Dad, grandpa, and brother. 

He is survived by his older sister Gina Utter. His son Eric Anderson and daughter Alyssa Anderson and six grandchildren. Lanie (17) Ava-Marie (15) and Vincent (12) who called Brent Papa B. And also his three grandsons Aiden (14) Jaxxon and Linkon (6). He was also survived by his two nieces Lisa Robbins, her husband Adam and their son Kash. Also a niece out in Colorado Melissa Sutton, her husband Brandon and their daughter Royce.  

Brent passed away at home on September 12th. He will be loved and missed by many. 

We are having a celebration of his life on October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Faith Community Church in Oak Grove Missouri.
