Known for his caring and generous nature, Skip was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and those around him.
Skip was a devoted husband of 58 years to Debbie States; a loving father to Chris States and Michelle Crane, and John and Samantha States; and a proud grandfather to MacKenzie States and her husband, Josh Brasnan, Ashlynn States, Lindsey States, and Matthew States. He was preceded in death by his grandson, William States.
Skip will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his strong work ethic, and his willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
