Jenni R. Jordan

Jenni Renee Jordan, 51, of Centerview, Missouri, passed away on September 1, 2026, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, following a brave battle with illness.

Jenni was born in Kirtland, Ohio, and moved to Independence, Missouri, when she was almost 2 years old. She lived there for the majority of her life before moving to Centerview, Missouri, in 2023.

Jenni attended Hope Christian School in Independence, Missouri. She was also homeschooled and graduated high school with the Families for Home Education class of 1992. After graduation, she attended Maple Woods Community College and participated in long-term church mission trips to Washington, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

Jenni spent the majority of her professional career with Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she served as a Claims Manager, but also wore many other hats. After 26 years of dedicated work, Jenni retired in 2025 and embraced retirement with the same energy and enthusiasm she brought to everything she did.

In recent years, Jenni created a homestead in Centerview, Missouri, with her sister, where she enjoyed the country life. She especially loved baking bread, crafting, gardening, tending to her orchard, and caring for a growing number of animals.

Jenni was a vibrant and loving person with quick wit and persistent positivity. She had a way of making you feel seen and special, no matter who you were, while still putting you in your place if you needed it. She was deeply loved by all who knew her.

Above all, Jenni loved Jesus Christ and sought to follow His Way with deep conviction. Her faith was an important part of who she was and how she lived her life. Though her bright spirit will be deeply missed here on earth, her family finds comfort in knowing that she now lives in eternity with Jesus Christ.

Jenni is survived by her mother, Sherri Macomber; stepfather, David Macomber; brother, Jon Jordan; sisters, Julia Jordan and Jerica Temple (Paul Temple); stepsister, Jen Macomber; stepbrother, Jason Macomber (Katie Macomber); nephew, Domanic Jordan; niece, Izzy Jordan-Morgan; step-nephew, Christopher Macomber (Danielle Macomber); and step-niece, Riley Macomber.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Jordan.

A memorial service will be held at Living Hope Restoration Branch on Sunday, September 27th, at 3:00pm, located at 2425 South Crysler Avenue, Independence, MO, 64052.
