Leslie R. Woods

Leslie Renee Woods, 45, of Independence, Missouri passed away on October 11, 2026, at Centerpoint Medical Center. No services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be announced by the family at a later date.

Leslie was born on August 12,1981 in Raymore, Missouri. She was a member of the Raymore community throughout her childhood and attended the Raymore-Peculiar School District. Leslie married her husband, Justin, in September of 2012. Her proudest accomplishment was her three children. She enjoyed spending her time with her children, grandchild, and cooking for those she loved. She was a very spirited woman who will be deeply missed by all those she impacted.

Leslie was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Russell George and her sister, Tawnya Grimes.

Her survivors include her grandmother, Dorothy (85 years); husband, Justin (51 years); daughters, Kayla (24 years) and Britney (22 years); son, Justin (16 years) and grandson Rhyder (7 months).
