Oliver Jay Abedrabbo passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022. Oliver Jay was born on June 30th, 2021. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, Missouri at 6pm with a Memorial Service at 7:30 pm. During his short sixth months here on Earth he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. He was small but, was strong and mighty. He was known for his handsome smile, who loved his parents and enjoyed blowing raspberries. Oliver loved watching Dr. Suess’ The Lorax while smiling every time it was on, he never turned down a good back or butt pat. He loved listening to his mom, Brianna sing to him, and watching videos and reading books with Dad, Holden. Any time he visited Nana Humphrey; they would rock but always make a big mess by blowing out of his diaper. He was very loveable and was not ashamed of being spoiled. He loved his snuggles and be rocked to sleep every night, with Grandma (Tayta) and Grandpa (Jiddo) Abedrabbo. Older brother Emri loved carrying him around, Emri also was teaching and showing Oliver all his gaming skills. Carter was Oliver’s littler entertainer always in his face with stuffed animals like the Grinch or Elmo, or just Carter’s face. Which Oliver always just soaked it all up, with smiles. Oliver was very outgoing and if you heard his loud squeal, you knew he was a happy baby that wanted to be heard! He loved squealing and screaming with his cousins who would echo back and forth. His life was a brief gift to us that will live on in all our hearts as it is hard not to remember that contagious smile.
Oliver Jay is the son of Holden and Brianna Abedrabbo, of Grain Valley, Missouri. Oliver Jay is survived by two brothers, Emri and Carter Abedrabbo. His grandparents are Lori and Jamal Abedrabbo of Grain Valley, and Tammy Wolfe Humphrey of Independence. His great-grandparents, Charlotte and Evan Sowards, Kay Young, Thomas Petersohn and Lucy Meyer. His aunts, Jessica Brown and Kaylee Abedrabbo. His cousins, Bella Abedrabbo, Aria Robinson and Kinglsey Robinson. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations of books for the boys or financial donations in loving memory of Oliver.
