Penny Marie Kruse, 72, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Penny was born August 22, 1950 in Orange, New Jersey. The daughter of Ralph and Mary (Sabitini) Dimarsico. She worked with the Independence Chamber of Commerce. Penny worked as a publisher at the Independence Examiner and the Grain Valley Point. She was a very social person and had many interests. Penny loved her dogs. It gave her much joy watching the birds and geese, as well.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Rosemary Scaglione.

Penny is survived by her two children. Daughter, Apryl Hartford (Scott Brogan) of Pasadena CA. and son, Patrick Otto of Kingman, AZ; two grandchildren: Maddison Otto and Elaine Matwyuck; brother, John Dimarsico of Farmington, IL; sister, Donna Dimarsico of Venice, FL; and niece, Elisa Dimarsico of Phillipsburg, NJ.
