Porter Herrick Neidholdt, 19, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away on June 10, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday June 18th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial following in Valley Memorial Gardens.
Porter was born August 30, 2001, in Independence, Missouri to Jesse and Lisa Neidholdt. From the very beginning he was an intelligent and inquisitive soul. He had a passion for science and loved to learn how things worked. His mind was quick to understand mechanics and technology. This was shown in his interest in planes, cars and especially computers; as well as his popular hobby of making chainmail. He worked hard for the things and people that he loved. Porter had the heart of a scout, He loved camping, hiking and all things outdoors. Porter had a very gentle soul, and it was shown in his patient, kind and happy interaction with the children around him.
He is preceded in death by his uncles Joshua Neidholdt and Seth Blanch
Porter is survived by his parents Jesse and Lisa Neidholdt; sisters Grace, Lilly and Elaina; brothers Tucker and Simon; grandparents Douglas and Sandra Neidholdt, Kent Blanch, and Catherine (Herrick) McDaniel.
