Rebecca “Becky” Ann Lamb, 60, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at K.C. Hospice House. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to K.C. Hospice House.
Becky was born August 29, 1959, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Walter R. and Billie S. (O’Neill) Mock. She married Charles “Dean” Lamb on August 31, 1979. Becky worked at Waddell & Reed for 40 years. She loved dogs, going shopping, her flower garden, and her family, especially her grandchildren.
Becky was preceded in death by her father Walter Mock and a sister, Wilma Breuer.
Her survivors include her husband of 40 years, Dean Lamb of the home; two daughters: Stacy Lamb of Lee’s Summit, MO and Casey Robinson (Randy) of Smithville, MO; her mother, Sue Mock of Independence; sister, Roben Shields of Independence; brother, Randy Mock of Clinton, MO; and eight grandchildren: Abby, Noah, Raegan, Rylee, Colton, Callie, Charli, and Caylee.
