Robert “Bob” Dean Ford, 87 of Independence, MO passed away December 16, 2022.

Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Funeral to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial at New Salem Cemetery.

Bob was born May 22, 1935 in Wellsville, NY to Raymond H & Leah I (Cole) Ford.

He retired from Kansas City Power & Light Co. Bob enjoyed fishing, sailing and traveling.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond & Leah Ford; wife: Joanne Ford; sister and brother-in-law: Beverly & Chester Clay.

Bob is survived by his children: Bryan Ford, Curtis Ford, Michael Ford (Pamela); 3 granddaughters; 3 great-grandchildren.
