Roderick Allen Hyre Jr., 75, of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21st at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Roderick was born on August 14, 1944 in Kansas City, MO, son of Roderick Sr. and Virginia Hyre. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a good friend to everyone he knew, a loving father and was brutally honest. He is preceded in death by his parents.
His survivors include his daughter, Michelle Love (Larry) of Belton, MO; granddaughter, Ashlee Ellison (Nick) of Harrisonville, MO; brother, Dennis Hyre; and sister, Janetta Roberson.
