Ronald Dean Cutshall, 82, of Oak Grove, Mo. passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024. Ron was born in Independence, Missouri on September 25, 1941 to John A. and Louise Cutshall. He grew up in Oak Grove, Missouri and graduated in 1960 from Oak Grove High School. In 1961, Ron enlisted in the United States Air Force. He then made his career in the automotive industry. He retired after 30 years of service with General Motors-Leeds Assembly Plant in Kansas City, Mo. After his retirement Ron enjoyed many hobbies serving as an auctioneer, certified locksmith but his passion was in raising horses. He belonged to Trail Riding clubs and for years supported the Oak Grove Youth Rodeo. Ron was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ church. He attended and served as a Deacon at the Oak Grove, Mo congregation.
Ron loved his many friends, family and would help anyone at any time. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louise. His brothers, Leslie Eugene, Lee, John Jr. his sister Janie and longtime companion Shirley Crain. He is survived by his three children, Sarita Lang (Peter), Eric Cutshall Sr. (Melinda) and Danielle Cutshall. Ron was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Skylar, Eric Jr., Peter, Megan, Kristen, Stephanie, Talan, Trevan and 11 great grandchildren. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff of 3 South at University Health Lakewood Care Center. The care, love and respect you extended to our Dad, affectionately known to you as “Grandpa” and “Pops”, is deeply appreciated. Services are scheduled for Friday April 5, 2024. Visitation 10:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life at the Community of Christ 1803 S, Broadway, Oak Grove, MO. Internment to follow at 3:00 pm at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery 20109 Bus, Hwy 13 Higginsville, MO. In lieu of flowers please donate to:
