Ronald D. Wheeler Jr.

Ronald “Ronnie” Dean Wheeler Jr., 45, of Independence, Missouri, was called the Heaven unexpectedly on Saturday, June 5, 2021, as the result of a motorcycle accident.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, MO.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sherry Wheeler to help defray funeral expenses.

Ronnie (Little Ronnie) (RMFW) was born November 1, 1975, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Ronald D.  and Sherry L. (Braden) Wheeler.  He enjoyed spending time with family, his dog Zues, and his friends talking, laughing, and making good memories.  Ronnie didn’t care what anyone thought about him.  With having all girls at first, he would let them paint his toenails and would walk around in flip flops not caring who judged him. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting, fires, and riding 4 wheelers, motorcycles, or anything of that nature.  Ronnie was a very hard worker and had experience in construction and many other fields of work.  He was a lot like his dad and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone.  Ronnie left us and this world doing what he enjoyed most – besides time with family, friends, and whatever woman he had that week (haha) – and that’s riding.  He would always say “oh that’s another new one” and smile and laugh while he was saying it.  Ronnie was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.  His famous words were “ride till my wheels fall off!”

Ronnie is survived by his mother, Sherry l. Braden of Blue Springs; daughters: Nakota Wheeler of Blue Springs, Klee Wheeler of Kansas City, Mataya (Trevor) Cretzmeyer of Lexington, Adriana Wheeler of Odessa, Zoie Wheeler of Blue Springs, and Chalef Wheeler of Independence; his dog, Zues; grandchildren: Kaizlee Hansuld of Lexington and Delilah Wheeler of Blue Springs; brother, Wayne (Celena) Wheeler of Harrisonville; sister, Dessa Wheeler of Oak Grove; nephews: Zachary, Carson, and Derek Jr.; nieces, Kristen and Klhoe; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wheeler in 2014, and his son, Phearious Wheeler in 2009.
