
Rose Mary Lauderback “Rosemary”, 74, passed on to be with Our Lord and Savior in heaven on January 8th, 2025 at Centerpoint Medical Center.
Rosemary was born in California, Missouri on September 6th, 1950. She lived most of her childhood in Lee’s Summit, Missouri with her parents and brother. She attended CMSU and Blue River Community College and received an associate degree. She used that to work with children with disabilities in the Independence and Blue Spring school districts.
She was a devoted mother, Grandma and friend. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She loved sewing for family, friends and the Linus group at church. She loved bowling when she was younger. She sang in the choir church for many years. She loved going out to eat, shopping and watching movies with her friends and family. She was a very positive person and could see the good in everything and everybody.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Velma Harris.
She is survived by son Jeff Lauderback, daughter Stacey Schraeder, daughter-in-law Amanda Lauderback; 7 grandchildren: Jordan, Taylor, Matthew, Mason, Gabriel, and Elizabeth Lauderback and Skylar Schraeder; brother Jerry and wife Cheryl Harris; as well as nieces and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held at The Gathering Baptist Church, 4505 S. Noland Rd., Independence, MO 64055, on February 15th, 2025. Visitation at 10am, Services at 11am.

29 Jan 2025Rosemary was one of the sweetest people I have ever meet. We meet at CMSU back in the 70’s and had lost touch over the years but I never forgot how caring and kind she was. I know she will be missed by all those she came in contact with!
