Russell Cox, beloved father, and grandfather, passed away on October 8, 2024, in Warsaw, Missouri.

He was born on May 31, 1964, to Robert S Cox and Virginia M Staton Cox. Russell is survived by his loving children, Shawn Cox (Amber Cox) and Ashly Cox (Robert Baker), as well as their mother Dawn Christine Cox and his four cherished grandchildren Jesse, Lexi, Justin, and Preston and a great granddaughter on the way two sister Laura Cox-Wilson and Virginia “Sis” Cox and one brother Robert S Cox (Kris)

Russell attended Blue Springs High School and graduated in 1982. He had a passion for drawing and woodworking and spent many hours working on his crafts.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, nicknames he would give everyone, sense of humor, and dedication to his family. Russell will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
