Sharon was born September 2, 1945 in Clinton, Missouri. Daughter of Orville James and Dorothy Mae (Nichols) Smith. She attended high school in Frontenac, Kansas and was the second child in a family of four. She had no children, but had a very close relationship with her nieces and nephews. After graduating from Frontenac High School she attended Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas. She then started her career in banking, later moving to Massey Ferguson and transferring to Iowa where she met and married her husband Donald L. Falk on May 19, 1990. His job then took them to Montana and to Irving
Texas where she was employed and retired from Kubota. She stayed busy working a part time job with Macys and was very active in the church and the Senior Citizen programs. In preparing for retirement Sharon and Don purchased a motor home so they could take their dogs along while enjoying many trips sightseeing and visiting several National Parks along the way. Sharon’s hobbies kept her busy too, knitting, sewing, crafts, reading and trying new recipes. Oh, and not to forget…shopping. She could not pass up a sale or bargain. Sharon enjoyed giving gifts to people she loved and help in any way possible.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert “Bob” Lee Smith.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Don Falk; sister, June Raney (Jack); brother, Dean Smith; step-daughters Barbara and DonAnne; nieces, nephews and cousins; and leaving her St. Bernard, Bradley in the love and care of her husband.
