Sheila Ann Pate died peacefully in the hospital on August 9, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. She was 55 years old. Sheila will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens on August 14th at 2:00 PM. A visitation will take place on August 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sheila’s life.
Sheila was born on November 22, 1961 in Independence, MO to her parents, Lloyd and Virginia Pate. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1980. Sheila was a secretary at MCC Electronics for 22 years and also worked a second job at Wal-Mart for several years.
Sheila is survived by her mother, Virginia Pate; her son, Kyle Pate; her brothers, Brent and Burl Pate; her sister, Shawna Pate; her nephew, Ryan Pate; and her nieces, Ashlynn Pate and Dina Cowan. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; and her Father, Lloyd Pate.
