Shirley was born April 24, 1934 in Buckner, Missouri, the daughter of Earl Robertson and Martha Louise (Chiles) Galvin. She was an active lifelong member of The First Christian Church of Buckner. She was also instrumental and helped organize events and activities around the church. Shirley was a master of many things, including crafts and sewing. She and Ivan traveled with the KC Chuggers throughout the United States. After planning a European trip for two years they followed their itinerary, enjoying their trip of a lifetime. The family always enjoyed Shirley’s cooking and holiday meals. She and her best friend, Clara Bollinger never missed going to town on Friday. Her family was her life and she will be greatly missed.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, of 64 years Ivan Campbell; her brother, Robert Galvin; granddaughter, Stefani Kindle and great grandson, Ethan Kindle and her son, Brian Campbell.
Shirley is survived by two daughters: Jessica Campbell and Claudia (John) Parker; daughter-in-law, Emelina Campbell. five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
