Shirley June Harter, 73 of Sugar Creek, MO passed away April 25, 2021. Visitation will be 5-6p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Memorial service to follow at 6p.m.
Shirley was born December 15, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Cecil & Florence (Thompson) Greer. She enjoyed going to the Casinos and play the slot machines. Shirley enjoyed cooking her famous meatballs and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Cecil & Florence Greer; brother: Larry Greer; sister: Louise Rogers.
Shirley is survived by her 2 sons: Charles C. Harter (Veronica), Kenneth L. Harter (Pamela); brother: Arthur W. Greer (Jenny); 6 grandchildren: Chelsea Abbott, Christina Harter, Vanessa Harter, Stephanie Harter, Kenneth Harter II, Jennifer Hinrichs; 11 great-grandchildren.
