Steven James Schafer, passed away May 6, 2025 at his home in Independence, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his mom Kathy German, his step dad, his dad and a cousin.

His survivors include wife Carla Johnson, son Daltyn Schafer, daughter Emma Holt, son Nicholas Gross, sister Donna Johnson, nephews Dakota Gee and William Johnson of Independence, Nelson Johnson of Warsaw, and many cousins and loved ones.

Services to be determined at later date.
