Susan Catherine Olson, 78, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Susan was born March 31, 1943 in Cannon Falls Minnesota. Daughter of Kenneth and June Johnson.  She and her husband Richard were married on June 2, 1962 and lasted until December 4, 2001 when Richard passed away. They resided in southeastern Minnesota: Red Wing, Zumbrota and Pine Island. After Richard’s death, Susan move to Missouri. She lived in Vienna for 2 years and Lee’s Summit for 18 years where she resided at John Knox Village. Susan enjoyed reading, puzzles and getting together with friends and family. She had the extreme challenge of epilepsy most of her adult life until God gave her relief from it in the last 10 years of her life! Susan and Richard started attending The Worldwide Church of God in late 1975 and were baptized on the same day in the spring of 1976. She continued to be a faithful member of Gods Church until her death.

She is survived by her three children. Son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Pamela Olson; grandchildren: Sarah Manning (Davd), Elizabeth Kanewske (Joseph), Steven Olson; and four great-grandchildren: son, Nathan Olson; grandchildren Caleb Olson and Onika Olson; daughter, Rosa Olson (Vicki) and four siblings: Janice Flaten, Peggy Rankin, Alice Stiller and Charles Johnson; many nieces and nephews and friends.
