Teresa A. Campbell


Teresa Ann Campbell, 59 of Buckner, MO passed away February 28, 2021.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO with funeral to follow at 2 p.m. Burial at New Salem Cemetery.

Teresa was born September 5, 1961 in Sedalia, MO to Howard D. & Dorothy E. (Manns) Winfrey. She married Phillip Campbell on April 29, 1993 in Independence, MO. Teresa worked over 5 years as a Paraprofessional at McCune School District and over 20 years as a Paraprofessional with Ft. Osage School District. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, taking walks, doing crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents: Howard & Dorothy Winfrey; sister: Sherrie Gervy; brother-in-law: Dennis Gervy; nephews: Michael Winfrey and Jeff Gervy.

Teresa is survived by her husband Phillip Campbell; son: Andrew; grandsons: Jasen, Julius, Jaxson; sisters: Rhonda Teter, Chris Winfrey (Mike Nicholson); niece: Amber Johnson (David); nephews: Matthew Inman (Lisa), Jeremy Gervy (Rachel)

  3. As Principal of McCune School during Mrs. Campbell service in our building, she was well loved and respected by ALL. Each and everyday, Mrs. Campbell truly made a difference in the lives of our students, giving them hope for their future. Please know I carry a heavy heart with ALL family and friends and EVERYONE will be in my thoughts and prayers. I will celebrate Teresa’s life, knowing I was blessed to have served with her in my life time.

  4. Teresa was a Paraprofessional in my math classes for many years. She was a Wonderful, Caring Person.
    The Students and I were truly blessed by her loving help. Teresa was loved by the students and her co workers.
    She brought a ray of sunshine to the classroom each day.
