Terry W. Forsyth

Terry Wayne Forsyth (age 71) passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023 surrounded by his friends and family. He was the son of the late William Lincoln Forsyth and Myrtle Elizabeth Forsyth, and was born March 4, 1952 and raised in Fredericktown, Missouri. Following his graduation from Fredericktown High School, Terry moved to the Kansas City area where he worked for Lafarge Cement Company as a Local D27 Union Boilermaker, retiring in the year 2002. To know Terry, is to see a strong work ethic and provider. As a result, three short days later Terry began working for Rockman/Masonite Door Company, leading to a final retirement after eleven more years.

Terry’s hobbies included making beautiful pieces of woodwork, spending time outside, and traveling with his wife. During his favorite season of Spring, you could find Terry taking care of his garden or driving around on his John Deere tractor. Terry took pride in being a father, grandfather, and husband. He also found great joy in spending quality time with lifelong friends. To sum Terry up in a few words, there were very few things he couldn’t fix and always had wise words of wisdom ready.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Myrtle Forsyth, and sister, Carolyn Sue Crites. Terry’s life will be forever cherished by his wife Patti of thirty-six years, daughter Lori Tobin (Scott), son Christopher Forsyth (Danyel); step-daughter Tammie White (Mike), step-daughter Cindy Bass, step-son Donnie Bass (Missy); thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren who he loved spending much time with; brother William Forsyth and brother Larry Forsyth (Petrina).
