Tom Jeffries 69, born March 8, 1946, passed away surrounded by family on July 15, 2015 in his Blue Springs home. Tom was a electrician of 46 years with IBEW L.U. #124. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gale and Olive Jeffries; brother Howard Merchant and sister Deborah Strome. He leaves behind his loving wife of 31 years, Paula; 3 children, Julie Valdivia (Frank) of Kansas City, MO; Brian Jeffries (Jodi) of Belton, MO; and Jacob Jeffries (Julie) of Strasburg, CO, 8 grandchildren, and two sisters; Laura Heart of Lathrop, MO and Penny Reser of Buckner, MO.

Service is 11am July 25, New Salem Funeral Home (816)796-8600. Visitation 6-8pm July 24. Burial Six Mile Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to St. Luke’s East Cancer Center or Kansas City Hospice.
