Timothy W. Holloway

Timothy “Shaggy” Wayne Holloway, 54 of Independence, Mo passed away peacefully at St Luke’s Medical Center on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 after a long hard battle with heart failure.

Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home 1823 N Blue Mills Road, Independence, Mo. Cremation to follow

He was born August 12,1968 in Independence, MO to Shirlie L (Butler) Holloway and Robert L Ricketts, later to be adopted by William J Holloway. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence in 1986. On weekends and after graduation, he worked for the family-owned business of H& H Tow and Holloway Auto Salvage. After the passing of his father, he carried on the business until he was no longer able to work. Tim was a jack of all trades, always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger.  He would give the last cent he had or the shirt of his back if you needed it.

He was preceded in death by his father, William J Holloway in 1993 and his mother, Shirlie L Holloway in 2011.

He leaves behind his sister, Leanne Highfill of Independence MO with whom he lived for the past several years, and husband Paul, his niece, Jennifer Garrett and husband, Timmy, also of Independence MO and his great niece and nephew, Mason Wayne and Skylar Grace Garrett.  He also leaves behind friends too numerous to mention.
