Tina Nicole Wheeler, 46, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, MO. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6th at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
Tina was born April 20, 1973, in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Jeffrey D. Wheeler on October 29, 1993. Tina worked at Quest Diagnostics in Lenexa and was also a CNA and enjoyed caring for and helping people in their homes. She loved reading, listening to music, and especially spending time with her husband and children, whom she adored. Tina was a member of First Baptist Church and her faith had grown in recent years.
Her survivors include her husband, Jeff Wheeler of the home; three sons: Michael Austin Wheeler (Alicia) of Independence, MO, Matthew Rion Wheeler (Rachel) of Oak Grove, and Marcus Garren Wheeler of Oak Grove; her mother, Brenda Hurshman (Mike) of Blue Springs, MO; her father, John Linkhart (Donna) of Holden, MO; and four brothers: Derrek Hurshman (Jennifer) of Independence, Tyler Hurshman of Florida, Eric Linkhart of Independence, and Justin Linkhart of Holden.
