
Treva Colleen Ramel, 90, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015. Services will be held Tuesday, October 13th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO, with visitation at 6:00 p.m., followed by the funeral at 7:00 p.m.; private burial at Floral Hills Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Baptist Church, 9320 E. 25th Street South, Independence, MO 64052.
Treva was born November 25, 1924 in Miller County, Missouri, the daughter of Edgar and Maude (Holloway) Melton. She married William “Frank” Ramel in December 1946. Treva was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, bowling, and working with the craft group at Blue Ridge Baptist Church, where she was a member for almost 60 years. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Treva was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 1989; her parents; seven brothers; and one sister.
Her survivors include two daughters: Linda Patterson (Keith) & Janice Hall (R.W.), all of Blue Springs, MO; four grandchildren: Ryan Patterson of Blue Springs, Teri Thompson (Brian) of Lee’s Summit, Chad Hall (Stacy) of Grain Valley, and Nathan Hall (Mickey) of Kansas City; and seven great-grandchildren: Drew, Brady, Quin, Skylar, Zane, Zoie, & Zali.
