William “Bill” P. Cline, 67, of Olathe, Kansas, died on Sunday, May 13, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 17th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Bill was born September 11, 1951, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Charles Mayfield and Edith Murray. He was a graduate of Lafayette County C-1 High School, Higginsville, MO and Linn Tech. College, Linn. MO. Bill was employed at Williams Foods, Inc. for over 19 years until retiring. He married Anna Marie Hoy of Oak Grove, MO, on October 7, 1989.
Bill was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, Herbert “Dutch” Murray; son, Jeremy M. Cline; three brothers: Roylee Teagarden, Donald Sigrest and Jimmie Mayfield; and sister, Mary Jane Franklin.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Cline of the home; son, William Jeffery Cline and wife Casey of Summerville, SC; three grandsons: Brendan Cline, Alexander Chute, and George Ruth of Summerville, SC; granddaughter, Andrea Chute of Blackburn, MO; brother, Bob Bollin and wife Tina of Leavenworth, KS; five sisters: Dorothy Quiggle and husband Paul of Olathe, Mary Raley of Olathe, Sandra Sigrist of Albany, MO, Violet Thompson and husband J.T., Savanna, MO, and Ginger Simpson and husband Pat of Leavenworth, KS.; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Leona Hoy of Oak Grove; sister-in-law, Janet Gann and husband Ronnie of Walford, IA; and many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
