1 Nov 2022First met Bill in Topeka when he lived next door to a friend on Auburn Rd. Always enjoyed being around him. He had an infectious smile and was a man who truly enjoyed his work. Walked a lot of miles with him hunting pheasants in western Kansas and fished with him in Canada. Rest In Peace Bill.

3 Nov 2022Made several pheasant hunting trips to Western Kansas with Bill. An 8-hour drive, in the middle of the night, gives you plenty of time to converse. Seems he had a story for every county road we passed out west where he either built a substation or combined a field in his younger days. He loved his job and living out of a suite case more than most will understand. When his weekend finally started on Friday afternoon, he looked so forward to getting home to Cricket and maybe seeing Amy and the grandkids. 300- or 400-mile drive for a brief 48-hour visit was Bill’s life and routine. He loved it.
RIP Bill
