William “Bill” Wilson, 92, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6th at Grace United Methodist Church, Oak Grove Campus; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Contributions may be made to the church or to Boy Scout Troop 266.
Bill was born on February 2, 1930, in Edna, Oklahoma, the son of Ernest and Jessie (Gross) Wilson. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving for 4 years. Bill was a supervisor for Burlington & Northern Transport, retiring after 39 years. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Oak Grove Campus, for over 50 years. He enjoyed watching football, gardening, and traveling to all 50 states.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother. His survivors include his wife of 50 years, Janice Wilson of the home; son, Rick Wilson of Connecticut; daughter, Lori Macrander (Kyle) of Bates City, MO; three grandsons; and two great-grandsons.
