Amelia Carmella Lakins, 82, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 16th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley.
Amelia was born on September 18, 1935 in Syracuse, NY, daughter of Frank and Amelia (Trivison) Danello. She liked to crochet, do puzzles and enjoyed anything Thomas Kinkaid. Her dog was her everything and she loved to watch old movies. A few of her favorite things were Pizza Hut pizza, ice cream and anything to do with George Strait. Her favorite color was yellow. She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, James; and 1 sister, Mary.
Her survivors include her daughter, Susan Billings of Grain Valley; 5 grandchildren, Jessica Gronau of Lee’s Summit, MO, Brittney Keeton (Justin) of Grain Valley, Caitlin Billings of Grain Valley, Shelby Billings of Grain Valley and Dakota Billings of Grain Valley; 7 great grandchildren, Gage, Addison, Oliver, Emmett, Lenora, Owen and Coraline; 2 sisters, Arlene and Frances; 1 brother, Joseph; and dog, Daisey Mae.
