Anita Epperson


Anita Epperson, 89, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at her home.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25th in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, MO. 

Anita was born October 1, 1930, in New York, New York, the daughter of Chris and Mary (Hasourakis) Kiritche.  She was a housewife and enjoyed cooking, reading, watching old movies, dancing, and traveling.  Anita was very proud of her Greek heritage and loved spending time with her family.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove and of the Oak Grove Eastern Star. 

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Jr. in 1988.  Her survivors include 6 children: Bill Epperson (Sokha) of Cave Creek, AZ, John Epperson (Karen) of Peoria, AZ, Victoria Ogden (Gary) of Oak Grove, MO, Kathrine Epperson (Gary) of Oak Grove, MO, Constance Piveral (Brett) of Raytown, MO, and Lisa Epperson (Ron) of Sarasota, FL; 12 grandchildren: Shannon, Corey, John, Kristine, Jason, Gena, Christopher, Nicholas, Michael, Anita, Tara, and Lawrence; 24 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
