Anthony D. Neill


Anthony Dean Neill, 54, of Kingsville, Missouri, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Lone Jack Cemetery, Lone Jack, MO.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Anthony was born May 27, 1967, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Bennie and Linda Kay (Corlew) Neill.  He was in the Local Union #315 for over 20 years.  Anthony loved his border collie, Pepper, and loved raising chickens and turkeys!  He was a homebody and enjoyed grilling, fishing, gardening, watching the Chiefs, and tinkering in the garage.

Anthony was preceded in death by cousins, Judy Weir and Teressa West; his father-in-law, David McNeel; and stepfather-in-law, Maurice Hayes.

His survivors include his wife, Deanna Neill; his parents, Bennie and Linda Neill; brothers, Darrin Neill and Scot Neill (Lori); mother-in-law, Doris Hayes; sister-in-law, Margaret Warner (Sid); two nieces that were like daughters, Nicole and Airyn Guinn; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

  3. I’m so sorry to hear of Tony’s passing. We went to school there in Lone Jack from Kindergarten to Seniors. He was a great guy with a sense of humor you couldn’t help but laugh… at least smite.
    My thoughts & prayers are with all the family at this time. I will be there in spirit as I’ve started new hours on the job & couldn’t get off. My God Bless You in these coming days.
    Deanna- I never met you, but know my thoughts are truly with you. As I know all to well the loss of a spouse.
