Bennie G. Booker, 75, of Oak Grove, MO passed away March 11, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Oak Grove, MO. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Bennie was born October 13, 1938 in Kennett, MO to James D & Vevia (Johnson) Booker.
Bennie served his country in the U.S. Navy. Bennie retired from Lake City Ammunition Plant after 35 years of service.
Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and 1 grandson.
Bennie is survived by his wife of 54 years Jerry (Barnett) Booker; 2 sons: Ron (Lenora) Booker, Wes (Karen) Booker; 1 daughter: Cindy (Jim) Johnson; 1 brother: Marley (Annette) Booker; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
