Bettie C. Davis-Morton, 77, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 at her home in Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 6:30-8:00 P.M. at the Royer Hays Funeral Home (205 SW 17th St. Blue Springs, MO). Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Royer Hays Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made c/o Bettie’s Family for Monument expenses.
On November 2, 1932 Bettie C. Watts was born the daughter of Barney Roscoe and Carrie Lou (Odom) Watts in Humphrey County, Tennessee. Bettie was a member of the West Haven Baptist Church in Tonganoxie, Kansas. She was a homemaker all of her life and had many close friends who considered her “MOM.”
Bettie is survived by three daughters: Sandra Morrison, Patsy Duarte, Debra Petree, three sons: Richard Morton, Troy David, Michael Morton, one sister and four brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands: Troy Nelson Morton & Rex L. Davis, and one son; Thomas E Morton.
