Betty Jean Parks, age 82, stepped into the arms of Jesus on March 24, 2014.
Betty served as church secretary for Fairmount Christian Church for 27 years and as president of the Christian Women’s Fellowship there. She joined Kinsman Redeemer Christian Fellowship in 2011. Betty had a beautiful smile, loved music, sewing, friends, family and Jesus.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Helen Graupner, one daughter, Glenda Wolbeck and husband Darrell Parks.
She leaves behind two daughters: Mickie Kniffen of Poplar Bluff, MO, Mary Coldsnow and husband, Gregg, of Independence, MO, granddaughter Jennifer Case and husband, Aaron, of Blue Springs, MO, 4 other grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
