Betty Jo Crossland, 82, of Bates City, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Betty was born October 18, 1932 in Hardy, Arkansas. She was a church secretary for 20 years and a homemaker. Betty will be remembered as a good wife, mother, grandma, and Christian.
Betty is preceded in death by her mother, Elsie G. Cooper. Her survivors include her husband of 65 years, Edward B. Crossland; son, Roy Crossland & his wife, Janet; daughter, Carol Hodges & her husband, Gary; two grandchildren: Melissa Tye & her husband, David, and Jeff Crossland & his wife, Coco; three great-granddaughters: Makayla, Kyleigh, & Lucia; and many nieces, nephews, & cousins.
