Betty Lee Ebert, 76, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2006 at K.U. Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 21st at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
Betty was born on June 9, 1930, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of CArl Lee and Wilma Fern (Carr) Stevens. She married Raymond C. Ebert Sr. on February 4, 1950. Betty was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Her survivors include her husband of 56 years: Raymond Ebert Sr. of the home; one daughter: Karen Sutton & her husband, Gary of Blue Springs, MO; four sons: Jim Ebert & his wife, Linda of Lone Jack, MO, Raymond C. Ebert Jr. & his wife, Kim of Lee’s Summit, MO, Daniel Ebert of Miami, FL, and David Ebert & his wife, Sherri of Oak Grove, MO; her mother: Wilma F. (Carr) Hawk of Grain Valley, MO; three brothers: Carl L. Stevens Jr. of Lee’s Summit, MO, Ronald Stevens of Blue Springs, MO, and Gary Hawk of Oak Grove, MO; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, with three more on the way.
