Betty Lou (Pippin) Zolnowski, 88, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away August 7, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Mount Washington Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Salvation Army.

Betty was born in Bosworth, MO, daughter of James and La Vera (Cunningham) Pippin. She was a wonderful mother, she fought for her kids, and she was proud of her family lineage.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, James and La Vera (Cunningham) Pippin; and 2 brothers, Howard Pippin and James R. Pippin. She is survived by 2 sons, Robert R. Campo and Richard P. Zolnowski Jr. (Lindel); 2 daughters, Jo Ann Day (Tom) and Jamie J. Sumner; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert L. Pippin.
