Betty Maxine Hysom, 83, of Grain Valley, MO passed away February 10, 2014 in Blue Springs, MO.
Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 p.m. Saturday February 15, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, Oak Grove, MO. Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church Youth Building Fund or C.S.L.
Betty was born July 16, 1930 in Emporia, KS. On October 25, 1951 Betty married Eugene Clarence Hysom. Betty worked as a seamstress in the medical supply industry. Betty loved gardening, flowers, needlework, crocheting, knitting, and sewing. She was an avid reader. She loved spending time with her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband: Eugene Hysom in 1996 and 1 son: Ronald Hysom in 2013.
Betty is survived by her daughter Lynda Duncan & husband Randall of Buckner, MO; 4 grandchildren: Keri Brewster & husband Kenny of Raytown, MO, Chris Hysom & wife Charla of Madison, KS, Michael Hysom of Overland Park, KS, David Hysom of Springhill, KS.
