Billy Gene Webb, 68, of Independence, MO passed away November 14, 2019. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2019 at Royer Funeral Home; Grain Valley, MO. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Billy was born February 9, 1951in Dumas, TX to Charles R & Leona E. (Jewell) Webb. He was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church of Independence and a member of the United Steelworkers Union. Throughout his work career Billy work for Armco Steel, Wire Rope Corp. and Independence School District.
Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, gardening, listening to his vinyl records and playing many instruments. He also enjoyed barbecuing for his family.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Nancy Webb in 2001.
Billy is survived by daughters: Lyn Michael (Shane) of Independence, MO, Jill Webb (Matt) of Holt, Anna Webb of Parkville, MO, Audrey Webb (Kalan) of Blue Springs, MO; brother: Richard Webb (Donna) of Bates City, MO; sister: Deanna Webb of Independence, MO; grandchildren: Heather, Nicholas, Tyler, Whitney, Jordan, Tyler, Zachary, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Ethan, Dylan, Claire, Chris, Jon; 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and their families.
