Bonnie Lou Kroesen, 85 of Independence, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Colbern Road Community of Christ church 27507 E. Colbern Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.
Bonnie was born in Centralia, Washington on June 28, 1928 to Alva and Maude (Green) Gadberry. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence, MO.
Bonnie was married to Carlos Rich Kroesen on August 29, 1948; they were happily married 51 years.
Bonnie was a homemaker and worked as a cosmetologist. She enjoyed gardening, drawing and painting. Bonnie was a devoted member of the Community of Christ church.
Bonnie is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Don Lundgren; her brother and sister-in-law, Harv and Gwen Gadberry; her sister-in-law Millie Kroesen and her sister-in-law Louise Kroesen; her children: Sevak Kroesen of Seattle, WA; Debbie Olivarez of Independence, MO; Lou Ann and Phil Wright of Lee’s Summit, MO; Brian and Marla Kroesen of Independence, MO; Lori and Chuck Watkins of Independence, MO; and Andy and Loretta Kroesen of Harrisonville, MO. Bonnie has 31 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Kroesen and her parents, Alva and Maude Gadberry.
The family of Bonnie will remember her on this day, comforted by so many wonderful memories.
