Buddy Dean McComas, 78, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015.  Cremation; no services.

Buddy was born December 21, 1936, in Hardin, MO, the son of George and Mabel McComas.  He served in U.S. Army from 1954 – 1957.  Buddy worked at General Motors Leeds Plant for 30 years, retiring in June 1989.  He was a member of the American Legion Stanley Pack Post 499 for many years.  Buddy enjoyed fishing and telling jokes.

Buddy was preceded in death by his mother and father; his son, David; and brother, Larry.

His survivors include his wife of 59 years, Aileen McComas; daughter, Lynn and husband, Clifford Hamilton; grandson, Daniel; and sister, Sherry.
