
Burnadean “Bunny” Louise King, 72, of Blue Springs, Missouri went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 2, 2020. Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15th at Lee’s Summit Bible Church 1200 NE Colbern Road, Lee’s Summit, MO. 64086 (Isbible.com). The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Lee’s Summit Bible Church online or by mail.
Bunny was born August 14th, 1948 in Kansas City to Earl & Jean (Zacha) Clark and grew up in Grain Valley and Blue Springs, Missouri. Her nickname was given by her father and she kept it her whole life. After high school, Bunny studied cosmetology and became a hairdresser. She married Larry G. King on June 19th 1965 and they had two sons, James (Jim) and Bryan. After the birth of her children, Bunny became a homemaker and dedicated herself to raising her boys. In 1972, Bunny trusted Jesus Christ as her Savior and spent her life serving Him and serving others. Once her sons were raised, she reentered the workforce and worked the front counter at Volume Instant Printing in downtown Lee’s Summit, Missouri for 20 years. She and Larry dedicated their life to the family and their ministries at Lee’s Summit Bible Church. Bunny served in the church nursery since the church began in 1982. Larry went to be with the Lord in 2009 and Bunny moved in with her son Jim and his family where she remained until her passing.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Jean (Zacha) Clark of Blue Springs, Missouri.
Bunny is survived by her son and his family, Jim & Carole King, her son Bryan and his family, a sister and her family, Donna (Clark) & Bill Hunt (Odessa, MO), a brother, Zack Clark (Blue Springs, MO), a brother and his family, Larry & Debbie Clark (Unionville, TN), and a brother, David Clark (Blue Springs, MO). She also delighted in her nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nephews & nieces, and countless friends and brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. Bunny will be missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
