Carol Lynn “Petey” Peters, 69, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Research Medical Center. A Memorial Service was held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Oak Grove Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network 1500 Rosecrans Ave. Suite 200 Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
Carol was born June 2, 1943 in New Haven, CT to Norris & Mary Edna (Costigan) Peters. She was an elementary teacher at Mid-Del School System in Oklahoma City, OK. Carol is survived by 1 sister: Kathy O’Brien of Vienna, VA; 2 daughters: Betty Mallette of Oklahoma City, OK, Megan Hill of West Palm Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren: Alan, Kenny, Amber, Shane, Philip, Arianna; and 1 great-grandchild: Sabrina.
